As with all vehicles, there may come a time when you will need to have your new vehicle repaired under its factory warranty. This information is provided to help you understand how warranty service issues are handled and to get your bus back into service as quickly as possibleAll new buses purchased from Palmetto Bus Sales are covered by both a chassis/engine warranty and the body manufacturer’s warranty. Your local chassis/engine dealer (Ford, GM, Cummins, etc.) will take care of the chassis and engine warranty. Body warranty issues are handled in our facilities or at an authorized facility near your location. Please review the information below. You may e-mail our Warranty Office warranty@palmettobussales.com or call us Toll Free at 1-800-783-7613 Our Role in the Warranty Process Each manufacturer we represent has its own warranty and the terms of that warranty are in the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Warranty Certificate you were given at the time you purchased your new bus. Our role is to assist with these warranty issues. Your warranty is intended to cover reasonable costs for repairing your bus when parts fail within the designated warranty period. Parts are covered as long as you have followed all the maintenance procedures outlined in the Owner's Manual and if they failed within the designated warranty period. The warranty does not cover routine maintenance or parts that may fail after the warranty expires. Procedures for Filing a Warranty Claim If you experience a problem with your new bus, we will take the necessary steps to see that it is repaired by the responsible party and supply any parts needed to fix the bus. With proper communication, we can arrange the warranty repair with the selected service center and get you reimbursed for the pre-approved amount in a timely manner. You must receive an approval number before any warranty repairs are made.
